One-page abstracts of lectures and posters will be printed and distributed to the participants at registration. The abstracts must comply with the following requirements:

Please, see the abstract template (Second page of the file REGISTRATION_ FORM_ISQE_2010.doc) in section REGISTRATION for detailed instructions.

Electronic version of the abstracts (.doc file attached to an e-mail) should be sent to the by May 30, 2010.

Post-deadline abstract submission will be available by July 15, 2010.

Full manuscripts submission due date is September 30, 2010.

PROCEEDING GUIDELINES

• The papers will be published in a separate volume of Proceedings of SPIE.
• Accepted authors should submit their camera-ready full manuscript to SPIE using the manuscript submission link and following the submission instructions for the MySPIE submission system.
• If an author does not have a MySPIE account, then she/he must create a MySPIE account. Please, read the instructions how to do this on the MySPIE Sign-in WEB-page, or download here the Create An Account Wizard-file.
• Please follow strictly the SPIE Manuscript specifications.
• All manuscripts will be reviewed for technical merit and suitability of content.

SPIE Transfer of Copyright

A statement of Transfer of Copyright form will need to be signed by at least one author of the manuscript and returned to the Organizing Committee via email.

We would like to remind you that the MySPIE online submission system is open for receipt of the full text manuscripts. The system will be open until September 30, 2010.

All participants, including invited speakers, should submit their paper using this system.

We would also like to inform you that the ISQE author does not need a paper number in order to submit a paper if using the direct submission link:

After the author clicks the link, he/she will log into MySPIE. (If the author does not yet have a MySPIE account, he/she will create one.)

The next screen the author sees is this: Note that the conference title is at the top of the page.

The author will input his/her name, affiliation, and the names and affiliations of coauthors. The author will cut/paste the abstract (from the manuscript file) into the appropriate box. Finally, at the end of the wizard, the author will upload his/her MS Word file.

The Organizing Committee

The maximum size of the poster is A0 paper format (90 cm width and 120 cm height) format. No specific guidelines are provided for preparation of the poster. The organisers suggest only to clearly show the title (minimum 72 pt) and authors name & affiliation (minimum 48 pt). At least one author per paper must be present during the poster session. Posters have to be placed in the reserved space during the morning of the corresponding poster session day and removed at the end of the session. Authors will find pins and adhesive tape at the School Secretariat.
