TRAVEL INFORMATION AND ACCOMMODATION
The activities of the 16th International School on Quantum Electronics will take place in hotel Marina Palace in Nesebar (Nessebar). The four stars Marina Palace Hotel is located between the old and the new part of Nesebar, only a few steps away from the most preferred Bulgarian beaches and is among the best hotels of Nesebar.
Nesebar is one of the oldest towns in Europe, well known with its exotic monuments the Antiquity, its fascinating architecture of the Middle Ages and the National Revival period. The town is situated on a small rocky peninsula in the North part of the Bourgas bay. The new part of Nesebar is linked with the old part of the town by a narrow 300 metres long strip. The beach, based in the new part, is 4 km long.
Burgas is a marvellous town, easily reached by direct flights from many European cities. Railway and long-distance coach services from Sofia are also available.
The organizing committee will organize a bus departing from Sofia to Nessebar on Sunday 19 Sept. at about 10 a.m. The same bus will return back from Nessebar to Sofia after the end of the ISQE'2010, and will arrive in Sofia between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Friday 24 Sept.
We suggest you to arrange your flight to Bulgaria only to the Sofia airport. At the airport you will be met by a member of the organizing committee, who will give you detailed information about organized transport from Sofia to ISQE'2010 conference centre.

Hotel "Marina palace" ****
A limited number of rooms are reserved in the conference hotel "Marina palace" for the conference participants. The hotel offered special rates (breakfast included) are:
- Single room: 55 BGN/night, 28 Euro/night
- Double room: 80 BGN/night, 42 Euro/night
- Bed in double room: 40 BGN/night, 21 Euro/night

Conference Halls
Two conference halls will be available during the school for the lectures of the invited speakers, Fregata hall will be appropriately arranged, offering exhibition space, desks and panels for the poster session. |
Flagman Hall offers 97 seats. |
Fregata Hall offers 160 seats. |
Climate:
September is usually warm at the Bulgarian Black Sea coast. The temperature varies between 20° − 25°C during the day and 10° − 15°C at night. The water temperature is close to 20°C. To feel comfortable, visitors are advised to bring both swimming-suits and sweaters.
